By using Class2Calendar, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Class2Calendar Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Class2Calendar is a browser extension that syncs calendar events from Canvas LMS to Google Calendar and Google Tasks. The Extension requires access to your Google account and Canvas ICS calendar feed to function.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Google and Canvas accounts
• Ensuring you have the right to access and sync your Canvas calendar data
• Complying with your educational institution's policies regarding third-party tools
• Using the Extension in accordance with all applicable laws

4. Account and Access

To use the Extension, you must sign in with a valid Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension
• Interfere with or disrupt the Extension's functionality
• Use automated systems to access the Extension in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including its code, design, and documentation, is the property of Class2Calendar and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Extension for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Third-Party Services

The Extension integrates with third-party services including Google (Calendar, Tasks, OAuth), Canvas LMS, and Stripe (for payments). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for any third-party service availability or functionality.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The Extension will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All Canvas events will sync correctly
• The Extension will be compatible with all systems or Canvas configurations

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Class2Calendar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Extension, including but not limited to missed assignments, scheduling conflicts, or data loss.

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
